My Vision

So above is my vision board. This basically means these are the things/goals/dreams that I wish to obtain and/or accomplish. Its from the smallest silliest pleasure (perfume --so not in my budget!!) to of course my ultimate career goal of graduating from law school and becoming a business owner. Being that I have been really down in the dumps (hence why I have not been posting on a daily basis) I needed something to continue to drive me. I truly believe in talking things into existence. So I think about it, visualize it, talk about it, and work towards it. Now all I need to accomplish is PATIENCE. Even though I know that things worth having does not come over night. I still feel like I am not moving forward. Nevertheless I advise EVERYONE to make a vision board (I actually think I am about to make another one) and post it somewhere you can see it everyday (mine is on the back of my bedroom door). See it everyday is a constant reminder of what I need/want to do!!

You are absolutely right! Four of my friends and I meet weekly to compare status checks on our vision boards. And we are well beyond the quarter-life crisis. More like mid-life and three-quarter-life crisis-ers.

I didn't know other people did this!! I always hide mine in my closet lol!! Right now, it's a vision "book" though, but I've been contemplating on dedicating a wall. I have a lot of dreams...

Have you thought about making an inspiration board? Just pictures of places or people, and things and objects that take you to good places and memories when you're down in the dumps. I have one of those too.

Actually I have been thinking about doing that exact thing. For my 30th birthday I want to go to Tokyo, Japan. I want to make a board of everything about the area and imagine myself there. Thanks for bringing thought back!!

P.S. Take it out of the closet and let it hang for the world (or at least the individuals who enter your bedroom!!! LOL) to see!!

LOL, well besides the apartment maintenance guy that rarely comes in my bedroom... that would be a total of 1, but I will take my dreams out the closet (figuratively and literally). I guess I owe it to myself.

Tokyo sounds fun (lots of good food)! My future trip is Australia, BTW.=)
