- I am a multi-faceted dark skinned (and finally proud of it), petite, sharp dressed, intelligent, self-sufficient, educated, and good looking, cultured, well-read, and sophisticated woman. Basically I am complicated. I am always on the pursuit of knowledge and is going through a “quarter-life crisis” who is willing to share her experiences.

I heard that! I guess that goes along with the Lord helps those who help themselves....but then where does that leave the Let go and let God..and Give it Up to God quotes?? I wonder, hmmmmm
I think that "Let go and let God" and "Give it Up to God" is not the opposite. Just because we have faith that God is going to work everything out, we still have to show Him commitment. It reminds me of what my preacher said Sunday, "God is moved by commitment, not tears and no work".
